Work session on Project Management 3.0, or Business Driven Project Management

On March 3rd we held a work session at our headquarters in Madrid (Spain) on the Project Management 3.0 framework, with participants from 14 of our Large Accounts.

During 3 intensive hours, the 26 participants had the opportunity to put into practice some key points of this new framework, launched in October 2016. After a short introduction by our CEO, Rickard Romander, who is also the developer of this project management framework, the participants were split into 5 work groups, and spent 1 hour analyzing the current maturity level of their companies, identifying the main challenges in their projects and organizations, and how they could apply the framework to help them solve the issues, while staying focused at all times on achieving the business goals of the company. The event finished with a presentation by the groups of their main points and findings.

It was especially interesting, among many other things, to see how people from very different sectors, such as Banking, Energy, Telco, Infrastructures and CRM implementation, to mention but a few, could find so many points in common, especially regarding the main issues they need to solve in the management of their current projects, as well as regarding which areas of the framework could provide the most help to them.

The feedback received from the participants after the event was very positive, and some discussions were initiated with a view to continue working with the implementation of the framework in some of these organizations.
