Rickard Romander

Rickard Romander is the founder and CEO of the Greenlight Project Management group. Rickard combines the work as CEO with training and consulting.

Rickard has extensive experience from business analysis, leading organizations through change, establishing and managing PMOs. Since founding GreenlightPM in 2003 he has helped more than 30 small and major international companies, all over the world, in achieving better business results by improving their project culture.
Rickard led the development of the project model GPMM®, the GreenlightPM Total Solution, Project Management 3.0 – Business Driven Project Management

Before founding Greenlight, Rickard worked some 14 years with Telecommunication giant Ericsson, in different leading roles as Project Manager, PMO Manager and Production Manager.

He has always promoted a flexible, dynamic, empowered and agile way of working, believing it is the best way to meet business results. Rickard did for example implement Kanban for the first time already back in 1990’s in two Ericsson factories.

Rickard has written several whitepapers and has spoken at conventions and other gatherings several times, for example at the UT Dallas 8th Annual Project Management symposium and at numerous PMI® events.

Rickard has a M.Sc. degree from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, and an Executive MBA from EAE, Spain.
